FLIGHT MANUAL / FIELD NOTES

Suction Loops and Controlled Landings

The central loop is a solid track: drive onto its lower slope in either direction, hold suction to stay attached upside down, and jump off into a controlled flight.

Aeronaut combines road driving, fictional lift jets, and a suction track in a compact arcade course. The most reliable stunt starts with a straight approach and ends with a deliberate landing. Use this guide to practice in Loop the Skyway or explore the same mechanic in free flight from the game home.

Set up the suction loop

  1. Approach on the ground. Line up with the central track from either end of the avenue. The lower approach joins the wheels to the track naturally; you do not need to find a hidden suction trigger.
  2. Build entry speed. Hold W along the central avenue. A rolling approach climbs the lower track. A sideways collision hits the solid edge rather than passing through it.
  3. Hold Q as you reach the entrance. Tyres alone can climb the shallow section. Hold suction before the track gets steep to stay attached through the inverted section.
  4. Keep momentum with throttle. Hold W with Q through the loop. The game consumes pressure while suction is active, so avoid adding unnecessary boosts or lift before the maneuver.

On touchscreens, press the loop and throttle buttons together. Line up inside the track width. Steering can move the car sideways on the track and eventually off its edge. The controls and mission guide lists every keyboard shortcut and the 18 mission objectives.

Release at the right time

Keep holding Q until the full circuit is complete. The car then returns to the road beyond the loop, and the game marks the loop as complete. On a steep or inverted section, releasing Q or running out of pressure releases your grip and preserves your travel direction. On the shallow lower track the tyres can still hold. Press Space for a deliberate jump off at any point. An incomplete circuit does not count as a completed loop.

After the exit, use the next gate to set your line. Ease off boost and save pressure for the next climb or descent. If you need a reset, R returns you to your latest checkpoint; in the loop mission, completing the circuit creates a checkpoint just beyond the track.

Land softly on a road or roof

Hold B to brake and activate cold-gas descent assistance. With pressure available, the assist slows a fall toward a gentle touchdown; engage it early, because it cannot rescue a last-second impact. You can also use Space in short bursts to slow your descent. C pushes the car downward, so leave it off while setting up a gentle approach. Brake with B and reduce sideways movement before touching down. The game treats a landing as unsafe when vertical or horizontal impact speed is too high, so arrive slowly instead of trying to correct everything at the last moment.

For Rooftop Approach, reach the elevated gate first, then align with the marked roof pad. Reduce horizontal speed before descending. On any landing pad, pass all gates and settle inside the circle; the finish registers only when the car is grounded, close to the pad, and nearly stopped.

Why the game may reject an entry

These are rules of a fictional arcade game. They do not establish real vehicle performance, engineering specifications, or flying capability.
